As It Is...

All is as it is.

There is inherent wisdom as it is.

Short Answer: Yes, wisdom of what not to do.

Long Answer: In life, I see a web of actions and reactions. In as much as we are alive, the universe on the whole is alive. Physically, there is some sense in this. How else would we have it? Alternatives would have us as victims of cosmic or theistic forces. My message is…refuse to play victim. Rather, consider oneself a player among players. In that regard, be mindful; learn from the circumstances that pervade the whole. For me, it is the only game worth the candle.

Great long answer n2.
your post reminds me of what Albert Einstein said: "A man should look for what is, and not for what he thinks should be."

N2, short answer: Bad examples of leadership in the world are redundant; redundant bad examples are a path of unwisdom. Unless we recognize limits on the wisdom of practicing unwisdom, we lose the distinction between wise and unwise. That said...

N2 and Kathy: I agree. The only thing a person can do that both feels right and makes sense is the best we personally can, regardless of what’s going on around us and whatever we happen to think of it.

All is as it was.

I think.

Unless there's some way to gauge the procession of time apart from the occurence of events.

Really I'm just trying to impress Pink Ginger.

All was as it was /Till I asked: why must it be so?"
I thought that apple tree/ 'Cross the lane was as it was.
Till I asked: why must it be so?
Apple fell and all isn't as it is:
I know I must also fall
One day.
No it isn't all as it is
Till thoughts go on after their fashion.
